Questions? Look here.

Everything you need to know about hosting with ClassZ.

How does hosting work?

List your venue, set your availability, then review booking requests from instructors. Approve the opportunities that fit your space and schedule.

How does a host earn?

You set your venue's hourly price and earn for every confirmed class hosted in your space. An instructor may also propose a revenue-sharing arrangement; if you accept it, you can earn an agreed share of the gross ticket revenue from those bookings.

How and when are hosts paid?

When a learner pays for a booking at your venue, your earnings are transferred to your connected Stripe account automatically. You connect a payout account during onboarding and track payouts in your host dashboard.

Can I choose when my space is available?

Yes. You set your venue's opening hours and available date range, and instructors can only request the slots you've opened.

Can I approve instructors or booking requests?

Yes. Instructors submit hosting requests through the platform, and you accept or decline each one before the class is scheduled.

Who determines the space price?

You do. You set the price per hour for your venue, and instructors see it when they request your space.

What happens if a booking is cancelled?

If a learner cancels and receives a refund, your earnings for that booking are reversed proportionally. You can also set your own cancellation expectations in your venue's terms of use.

Who is responsible for damage?

You set the terms and conditions for how your space is used, and you can state your expectations in your venue listing before hosting. ClassZ doesn't provide coverage for venue damage.

Is insurance required?

No. ClassZ doesn't require hosts to carry insurance, and ClassZ doesn't provide venue insurance. You can address expectations in your venue's terms of use.

What does the $149 annual membership include?

One annual membership covers one venue address. It includes listing your venue, being discovered by instructors and learners, receiving and approving booking requests, managing availability and pricing, and tracking your earnings. Additional addresses need their own membership; multi-location partners can get a custom plan.

Will the founding-host price change?

The $149/year founding rate is available to the early host community today. Pricing may increase for future hosts as the network grows.
